One word at a time — read at your own pace
Read-Able is a supplementary reading tool to improve word recognition and reduce visual clutter. It is not a replacement for reading from books and should be used alongside them.
Read-Able shows text one word at a time in a fixed spot on the screen, so your eyes never have to move. This can make reading easier for children who struggle with tracking, dyslexia, or visual stress.
How to use it: Paste any text into the box below — a story, a school book passage, anything you like. Adjust the speed and font size to suit your child, then press Start Reading. Use the arrow keys to go back if a word needs a second look.
Choose colours that feel comfortable. Cream or pastel backgrounds often help with visual stress.
